Therapies

Mandibular Advancement Devices (MAD)

Mandibular Advancement Devices (MAD) are oral appliances that are used to treat sleep-related breathing disorders, such as snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). MADs are typically custom-made by a dentist or other qualified healthcare provider, and are worn in the mouth during sleep.

CPAP

CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. It is a common treatment for obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), a sleep disorder characterized by repeated episodes of partial or complete blockage of the upper airway during sleep.

NIV/Bi-level PAP ventilation

NIV stands for Non-Invasive Ventilation. It is a type of respiratory support that aids breathing without the need for invasive procedures in common conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and neuro-muscular disease.

Sleep Positional Trainer

This is a small device programmed to train patients to avoid sleeping on their back. This is use in positional obstructive sleep apnoea.

CBTI

This is a type of therapy that is commonly used to treat insomnia and other sleep disorders. CBTI focuses on identifying and changing thoughts and behaviours that contribute to sleep difficulties.
